This course is specially designed for advanced film making and compositing. It is for them who want to master the Post production part film making. Students are trained in several skills in film editing, sound editing, compositing and creating special effects and VFX in movies.

Phase I – History of Cinema, Documentary, Techniques, Workshop& Projects

Introduction to Film as a medium, History of Cinema, Introduction Early, Cinema Hollywood German, Expressionism Introduction to different Audio Visual Formats Documentary – origin and classification – Styles and Techniques Major documentary film makers Case Study – Night and Fog Introduction to the Basic techniques of Editing. Introduction to Editing advance technology Introduction to Sound. Sound Aesthetics Workshop and Project.

Phase II – SMOKE
Introduction to Smoke Interface, Editing, Conforming, Color, Correction (CC), Color Warp (CW), Roto Scoping, Keying, Paint Effects, Tracking & Advance Compositing (Action Module)
Software Covered: AUTODESK SMOKE
